Picasso's Paintings Purloined?

At least two Picasso paintings, worth a total of nearly $66 million, were stolen from the artist's granddaughter's house in Paris, police said Wednesday. The paintings, "Maya and the Doll" and "Portrait of Jacqueline," disappeared overnight Monday to Tuesday from the chic 7th arrondissement, or district, a Paris police official said.

Well, there are all kinds of nuts people out there. It is very possible that the theft was ordered by some rich nutshell who is one of the types that goes into museum and shoots some paintings several times because of that so-called psychological effect that makes people nervous...

Original paintings have sentimental, emotional value, espectually for his granddaughter. I would certainly love to own some of original paintings, but not particulary Picassos, though.

Actually, who exactly would buy a stolen painting? You can't say that you have it, can't show that you have it, it's reasonably dangerous just to have it...
