Well, even if you can't see the colour, a colour is still stored in the palette for the transparent index.

is the canvas restriction an x<240 y<320 only or can we rotate to classic 320x240?

i like the low max colour count... and animation... since i tried it out some time ago and i like animations more than i thought i did...But i dont have the time... last year at school, final exam in less than half a year...

MAX people, MAX size. Not the size it needs to be, just the biggest size it can be. You can make it 8x8 if you want to.
