Pixel Art Challenge: April Fool's Gallery III
News Details
Well it's that time of year again...
Go to another member's PJ gallery, study their pixels, and fool us into thinking that that person made it.
No copies, only 100% original work.
Think style, technique and artistic sensibility.
You must name the pixel artist in your submission.
No real rules this week but find the parameters set by the artist you choose.
This applies to general size, color choices and don't forget to pay attention to preview icons.

Purple and yellow hurt my eyes... PJ looks like a NERD's flavor. And the avatars were fucked T-T.

Is hard to parody a style that belongs to another person.
I hope I can pull this one off... slightly more pressure than a regular challenge IMO. Still, as long as anyone can recognize off of whom I'm basing my piece and as long as the artist inspiring me doesn't want to kill me, I think I'll be okay.
Not if you're me, I'm like style-blind or something. If I copy something I want to give it a little twist so it's mine instead of a copy (same with styles).
It is easier to copy ones defined style than making one your own often.
Ugh.. I'm already having trouble defining my own style, so how am I supposed to copy another ones style? *shakes head*
quake: i personally don't like these challenges, because i over tried this so many times before. but if you wish to get an overall feel hepersons style, look at there saturation levels obn like 3 peices or so, and then look at if they rely on hue-shiftying and if so by how much. and then you will have a better idea on how to acheive it.
if you take there palettes, yes it is ok, but people are less likely to vote for you.
I'm probably will heavily insult whoever I choose to try and imitate.
but i wanted to do the pillow shading challenge.

I might pretend to be a pillow shader. Should be plenty of examples to follow. :ninja:
I really hope I'll have time to enter this round, these are always lots of fun. Watch out, _______! 
Look at the entire artists style, of their whole gallery, don't just pick one piece and make it similar. Cause that's what happened the last two times. It's annoying.
@Quake: Do what you feel is necessary to achieve the style of your chosen artist (except ripping or editing their work!). So yes, if you feel that you must borrow one of artist's palettes, you may.
@Shawn: Sure. It's always ok to enter multiple times.
Can I enter more than once? The April fools challenges are my favourites.
can we use their colours, or do we need to make our own?
