two things:

Gather the similar tones in your palette and you'll have the same result from the colors. Also interconnect the palette more and you'll have more possibilities with fewer colors

pixels work better with bigger areas of the same color (clusters), Especially if you have little charakters the readability will increase drastically if you are using them.
Another thing is that dither is extremely nasty to animate.



kept your style, you should also be carefully with the lengths of your limbs and yoour poses.

The first image uses 124 colors, you're not strictly using the colors of the palette.

Your grey/metal shades are tinted green, causing them to blend with the green fabric colors. Tint them slightly bluish/violett instead to make the armors contrast the clothing.

Kept the palette, redesigned the rest.  Only the first two for now.

Not too happy with the feet/boots.

I'm particularly interested in any pointers regarding coloring, I've started trying to do the "crossword puzzle" type palette designs that I've seen recommended; this is just what came of messing around with the palette I came up with on the left.

That said, crits on the sprites themselves are also welcome, of course.
