I think that the raft being at the same level as the moon (?) doesn't help the whole composition, gives the feeling that the lower part is just a waste.

The moon could use some textures aswell.

Well it's ok. Good enough to get into the gallery, but there are a lot of things you could still work on.
I think you could up the size of the canvas, and not have the ship (if you can even call it that) in the center of the canvas. Perhaps dim the stars a little bit. Perhaps little people could be holding the paddles (you would have to bring them a few pixels towards the raft to do so). You've got some unattractive banding on your raft. There are a few points on the outline of the raft that have 2 pixel thick lines (at the bottom, where the circle part of each log connects with the long part, and the top).
I would also suggest removing the bright cyan, playing around with textures, and making the pole on the flag 2 (or even 1) pixel thick instead of 3.
