ok so im trying to shade a bush, but im really struggling on this one, my light source is top right, i cant get it to seem like its not flat, and im not sure how to make it look like it actually has leaves, any ideas please

I suggest you to work with a photo if you don't know perfectly the object you're working on, I'd suggest you to shape it more before and then detail it.

You aren't changing hue in your shadows, but that could be ok if you're doing a night scene mebbie. If you are planning to make a day scene then I'd suggest making your shadow color push toward the opposite on the color wheel from your light source. Default light is yellow and shadow is purple.
If your bush was all one level of finish it might look ok. Right now you have different treatment on different areas of your image. If you can't find one you're happy with go draw bushes until you find a method that you find appealing. As I mentioned in another thread I'd suggest looking at silhouettes of the type of thing you want to make and picking a specific species/type of plant to aim for.
