    Posted: 08 July 2008 at 1:49am
Hello, I am ElaineG, I lead a community called Force Fighters, mainly related to creativity and gaming. Since some time ago we started working on a web magazine to be released once every few months (freely of course). In that project we cover different subjects and this time, one of those is meant to be Pixel Art. I though of coming here to ask you if you'd like some of your works featured in the next edition of the magazine (with credits of course... a name, email or site address).

I'm not sure if this is the right place where to post this, but since this board seems to be also related to challenges, if you feel ok with this, you can post your best pixel art works that you'd like to be featured (with a little description/comment) and I'll pick some of them.

If you want to check what kind of web magazine we're working on you can see the first edition here:

Thanks for your attention, I hope I posted this in the right section.

Thanks for the ofering indeed.

I think it would be great if you could surf the gallery and check some galleries around. I'm sure that asking personally each artist for their arts could be even more productive ;)

I like the idea - but I'm not too keen on posting 'my best works' as I am not sure what would suit your needs.
I'd actually quite like to see my work in it, :3 if you see anything you like in my gallery.

Thanks for your suggestion Metaru

Skull, I've checked your gallery (very nice works :) ) and the ones I'd like to use from you are these:
http://www.pixeljoint.com/ws/player.asp?u=full/water__r183351211.png

If you agree on this, you can give credits info (name/nickname and a contact or site url) and a little description for the works, which you'd like to be written on the magazine on the page where these images will be shown. Let me know.

50's Crime Joint
This was my first proper isometric piece, it was for The Joint. There are only some basic features to this, such as detail to the wall, as I was just starting out; but it seems to have been taken quite well.

Nice One, Gary.
I like to think I'm a funny person, so when I can inject a bit of humour in my work, I'm all for it. This was a piece for a weekly challenge called 'Dive In'. I had to push myself to keep the colour count down in this; challenge requirement, but I definitly think that this is a piece that shows I have moved on as an artist from tiny pixel men.

Hello there, remember about the web magazine article?
Edition is ready ;)
http://www.forcefighters.com/magazine/ffmagazine2.pdf

Enjoy, The PixelJoint article starts on page 18

To Skull: we had an article space issue and couldn't insert you, but a page on the next edition will be all for you if you agree ;)

I'd like to thank you all for your collaboration, all the works I checked (even those that we didn't put in the article) are amazing, so well done to everyone for your wonderful art :)

Thank you for sharing our passion/hobby. I will write up a news article to spread the news to others here. Your site and forum are most interesting, if way above our (my) head.

ps: skull is a ham, he'll agree to anything

Oh my god, my dreams of appearing in a second web magazine have been shattered!!

Sure, I'll go in the next one - stop laughing at my misfortune - now I shall get a four-page-provocative-spread.

:D yeah let's keep in touch

To Larwick: our readerbase is not so huge at the moment but we tend to try and spread the thing around. Our community counts about 100 people (200 in theory but of course not all of them are active) + the magazine is standardly posted in a few other places ( deviantart + some clans or communities) :)

If you're on dA - I'm sure you can get in one of ShoneGold's Journals if you're promoting Pixel Art.
