Have you ever tried to make a pixel art panorama or a 360° panorama with common software? Well these Java or Quicktime tools work with photos, but pixel graphics look awful. But how about a nice little bikini bottom scroller? I think its a nice little non iso collab. Why Bikini Bottom? - everyone likes spongebob and his friends - there are so many characters and places to pixel How can it work? To have a connection between images from different persons the background of each image should be the same, well at least 1px border on the left and on the right to ensure that each image can be connected to the other. Size I think 300x300px is a good size for unbridled creativity, width and height are fixed. Colors Well, the background should keep its colors. Explanation: Background Template: See samples & how it looks: http://bikinibottom.webmonk.de Im really looking forward to postings of bikini bottom scenes, comments or improved graphics ...

| Heh, that's really cool. I love the idea, the site and the little tool you've built. My main criticism is that by making it "Bikini Bottom" instead of just a generic sea floor you kind of restrict the creativity a little bit. Some peeps might not be into SpongeBob, but still want to throw down a cool sea floor pixel pic. | |

Yes, I guess thats kind of true, there are also some how dont even know spongebob, I see. Well, but if some seaman post some sunk ships or whatever it will look cool to me too. Maybe someone has an idea for a different name, not bikini bottom panorama, but something somewhat panorama. Ive got no good idea myself right now, but if we find a good name I could change the name.

I'd love to participate in a regular underwater panoramic, that'd be really neat but I'd run screaming the other direction from ANYTHING spongebob, sorry.

Alright then, changed it, new link http://ocean.webmonk.de Now its a oceanic panorama & more generic, but I left my spongebob samples within to have some samples online. Well Im quite surprised you all dislike spongebob, well the little mermaid is quite funny as well I guess.

question: how old are you? perhaps this is simply an age difference thing? I've noted that lots of highschoolers seem to like spongebob but the interest sharply diminishes in university students who are only 1-2 years older. anyways, I'm happily pixelling a mer-creature for the collab now :D

I hate spongebob. The only good Childrens cartoons are Ed Edd and Eddy, and Invader Zim  | |

Saiklor, hey, looks good already, what about adding a nice litte merman - or a mermaid, like you have them in the pixeljoint pixel area? I just wanted to remind all that you also can change the background as long as there stays some connection areas on the left and on the right.

Aww... man. I wanted to download it but my dad uninstalled WinZip. Time
for plan B, that is, save the image and draw straight onto it in the
picture editing program. Lousey tedious plans of mine.
