Okay... so I got an email from this dude the other day:

Once installation is done, add me to your contact list using the Add button and this address."

Yadda, yadda, yadda... I have no clue who the heck this dude is.

So I email him back: "who the heck are you?"

he says: "I am gaffa from neutron city and i like your pixel art i would be interested in hiring you to do some work for me if you are interested"

I email: "well, there's better ways to go about than to assume I'm going to add you to my messenger without even knowing you. Secondly, if you want me to do some work for you, you need to give me details - ie: website, images needed, salary, etc.
So far I'm not interested."

He replies: "Dont want you then i have found a much better artists Bye."

Retard. Do you guys get idiots like him emailing you too?

I get a lot of random people adding me to MSN. Then when the screen comes up telling me I've been added to their list, I always add them to mine and they usually beat around the bush. It's always something like:
"Ur Blink?"
"Blick."
"Oh. Ur a pixel artist rite?"
"Right."
"Cool."
A couple of minutes later...
"So, I am working on this MMORPG..." *
"Oh."
"Could you make some art for it?"
"No, I have too much stuff to do." **
"K."

*MMORPG are often failures and I'm curious if that "pitch", or any modified version of it, has ever worked for an indie developer.

**I honest do have too much stuff to do. Right now, I have a physics lab write up and graphs due tomorrow, then I'm a week behind in my English and French work, and I have yet to do honest work on any of my forensics assignments so far this year. I need to learn some time management, but I'd rather watch tv.

Sonic sucks donkeyballs. I hate seeing every second piece of pixel art at DA being Sonic or something to do with Sonic. Usually it's a sprite rip made into a crappy "comic" that isn't funny or amusing whatsoever

Not to mention it's usually with characters edited from Sonic sprites and made into crappy recolours... I'm sick of it D:

Then the guy wants to watch through my webcam. How does that make sense? First I smell, then I get a webcam invitation. Anyway, I thought: hey, it probably won't work because of my router's firewall anyway, so why not. So I clicked accept, only to find out that for some reason it did work. I quickly point the webcam to a blank piece of paper, and he's all: "wtf"
He thinks my webcam is pointed at the ceiling, but I tell him it's pointed right at me and that it probably isn't working

Yeah, so that's my story. My opinion: it's fun messing with these kinds of people. Too bad they're so annoying.

Alright, this doesn't have much to do with what Pixelblink posted, but I thought I'd mention it anyway since the thread was called Messenger Tards.

This one time this guy I didn't even know messaged me on AIM and accused me of being racist all of a sudden, I didn't know why and he said I banned him (I was a mod on Pixeltendo), when I tried to say I wasn't racist he was acting like a complete dumbass when he himself was putting down all other races but his own.

I didn't know who he was until a few days later, which I banned him for posting Futurama porn.
