That's the problem with playing God, after effects may not present thier effects for some time or generations later. You could create an terminal and deadly strain of dna. Really this is a topic that has scarry implications. You could literalllyt ruin an ecosystem with this technology. For example, if you made a certin protien in one fish and no harm to the fish occured that would be viewed as ok, but what if that protien was a deadly toxen to a preditor of that fish? Just my two cents. |
