I am making a space invaders themed 'credits' banknote, mainly because I've never done anything spaceinvaders-related, and I'd like to :D

it's about participating, not winning.
good work should inspire you, not dissuade you from entering.

the shapes pretty good.  Just needs a few small tweaks, but mainly some AA to smooth it out.  I can post an edit I did of the 50 if you want, but I figure you can figure out how to smooth it out on your own.

@dpixel: the problem with the 50s is banding- use the second lightest grey to AA.

I see possible braille, but am having no luck figuring it out.
The lower two could be an "I", or the lower three an "O", but that lave the upper untranslated/able. If you rotate 180 it says "is" though. -shrug- Probably looking to much into it.

Here's a more refined WIP. If someone were to help me with the horrendous circle in the middle, which is probably afflicted by all kinds of banding, jagged lines and other errors, I would be most appreciative.

EDIT: Never mind. Just read the thread rules about only posting finished WIPs. It is now in the submission queue.

Thank you very much. <3

Do you mean the ones that say CLEF or Sol Zagato?  I suppose they're both in maroon...  Any idea which color you think would look better?

I'm starting work on the back side of the banknote right now; I think I'll go ahead and make more CLAMP money even after the challenge is over.

it's supposed to be fictional currency. This is a slight variant of an actual currency

I have to agree that Geoglatico is not quite following the spirit of the challenge. It is a pixelling improvement for him...that's good.

An update with hologram colors unresolved >:(

Submitted (tweaked update to ^) to challenge so I can't back down at the last minute, as I always do.
