Hello all,
My name is Blake and I'm the lead artist for the indy company, Dinofarm Games.  You may know us from our '10 release, "100 Rogues" for the iphone.  Most of my duties included painstaking pixel animation and cutscene illustrations.  We are no developing our next game, "Auro" for android and iOS, but I need to pick up more work because we're developing for free.

I have finished an entire game including expansion material, so I have more than enough experience in my field to see through whatever project I take on.

Enough preamble; on to the razzle-dazzle.  Here is sprite art for our up and coming title, "Auro,"  currently in development.

Auro!  The main character!     and a minor source of antagonism. (he's shy.)

Ever develop for corporate middle men?  I don't recommend it, but it gave me a couple design opportunities!

Here's a 10 frame run cycle done from scratch.  This was for a promotional flash game, "Data Defender."

Since it was on a parallelogram plane, I couldn't reverse the left/rights.

now I can see why people do 3d... I had to do this 4 times!

Dinofarm almost got hired to make the mobile version of "Mount and Blade."
Here was my pitch to them for why they should NOT use digitized 3d.  They
ended up not going with us.  Pity.

Next is another pitch we made to a publisher.  This was going to be essentially a hex-based advance wars with army building over a campaign.  The trees' resemblance to Zelda trees were unconscious!

Finally, a few things from our official release, "100 Rogues!" (check it out if you have a mac or iDevice!)

Behold the best Crusader in the whole world, and his "Whack of Glory!"

It forces the Succubi most foul..             ...to meet an untimely demise!

Or perhaps you'd rather play as the Skellyman Scoundrel.
Finish your enemies with LEAP ATTACK!

and watch her slay the ghastly Candy Clown!      "WHAT A WORLD!"

The flour bag monster is getting away!    "WHAT A WORLD!"

BULLIES!                          ACOLYTES!                    AW HELL!

                                                                                                                    TAKE THAT!

And finally, I know this site is for pixel art, but to show my versatility, I can also illustrate.  Here's a character portrait for our current title in development(Auro).

Well, I hope that's sufficient to show what I can do.
Thanks a lot for looking and I hope you enjoyed.
I look forward to working with you!

Not to tease you with a reply, but I did want to post to say that I love the liveliness and 'snap' in your sprites and animations. Hire this man to do stuff for you!
