I know when I haven't been on PJ for awhile I always get off-track with my anatomy/palette.

So help if you please with anatomy corrections and colors. Still working on color count... know I need to generally change some colors firstly.

Her legs are very large and long, and her leg shouldn't bend screen-right like that. Her torso is also really short and it looks like her chest and waist are bending forward, like her spine is curved toward her breasts or something. Her arms also look kind of large to me but not to the same extent. Once you fix the legs it will be easier to gauge where they should go down to and how thick they should be

I like your style of shading though.

Is what the anatomy is suppose to be. I realize when I shaded her breasts it looks more front-facing.
It seems correct to me but a new redline would help me to see differently =)

Well, your lines especially on the leg don't quite match up to the drawing, like how you have the leg/boot bending to the right. I think her entire height is kind of proportionate to her head but notice now just her knee to her ankle is the height of the entire torso, the body parts are the wrong size in relation to each other. It mostly comes from her torso being so small. If you kept the same height and fixed her torso the other stuff would fall into place.

I also still think her torso is jutting forward in a weird way, like I said like her spine is curving. There's also something weird about the angle of her head that I can't quite put my finger on.

(the curves of the real woman are badly drawn sorry, I was more talking about the length anyway)
I'm not really good at drawing redlines, but I tried. They're not corrective ones, they're comparitive to show the difference between a real woman's proportions. I think it has a cool look and I'm probably not any good at anatomy myself in practice but I can see what seems wrong. Hope this is helping, sorry if not

I don't disagree with you but I do want it to look a certain way... I know what you you are pointing out but I wanted her to have a smaller waist and thick/long legs. I still want to Accomplish that look but I want it to read that way.... so if there is a way it could read better?

Also in the original sketch I was trying to give it a slight side perspective and her leg being closest, pretty sure it isn't reading that way :/

Looks good. Considering the anatomy is so stylised, I'd just move the breasts to the left (like you already said) and look at the relationship between her forearm and her waist. Her arm looks a bit meaty to me.

The head looks a little too big compared to the shoulders but again, that could be a stylisation thing.

I'd knock back the highlights on her hair so they're either less contrasty or so those bright reds aren't so sharp. They're like speculars at the moment which makes her hair less 'hair-like' and more plastic, like her boots.

Hair tends to have a duller sheen, even in the shampoo commercials ;)

In any case, it's cool.

Here:

I made an edit, though I'm not the best at anatomy I just tried to balance out the shapes, and make her a bit more anatomically correct while maintaining your shape.
Your main mistake in this image is that it looks like she is about to tip over to the left. I believe I managed fix that, thought her legs might be to fat.Oh yeah the arms are distorted too, but I believe this is good enough for a quick edit...

er, she's rather stumpy in that edit. you did right by moving her head back I think.

HF: I see where you're going with the exaggerated anatomy, but still feel the torso is a little too short compared to the legs.

Thanks

I will fix the pose of her head/neck. I'll try and work on her torso as well as the thickeness ect of her arm. Question, what if I brought her right leg ”down” slightly? Feel like it might be throwing it off.

Yeah, the had has to be moved back. And I also think that the torso is too short, even if you want to give her long legs. Also, the shape of the legs itself is strange I think. You don't see the knees, the ankles are too thick and some other things.
But better look at my quick edit, can't explane it good in english:

Super 17 hits close to all the problem areas. But there's one he didn't mention: perspective.

You've got several viewpoints mashed together in one figure. Most notably the head seems to be from a flat sidescroller while the rest is in 3D, but there's also the feeling that the camera for the body and for the legs are on different heights, and your leg's camera being a bit fisheyed. Your knees also show different perspectives with the ^ and v directed curves.

Yeah idk why I wanted the boots to do that. Sometimes I just draw things a certain way because that's the way I want it to look but if it looks aweful then I can definitely try to make it look better :) I just wanted her head to be turned does it look bad?

Individually, all the parts look pretty good. But like I said, they're fighting each other in terms of direction and perspective.

You don't necessarily have to change the outfit to get the perspective right, but yes this looks more correct.

I think I prefer the look of these clothes more, as well. Feels more current, more real, and more like cloth instead of vinyl.

Sexy. loving the creases and palette being used.

right boots lower section might be slightly longer than the lefts. if not it might be an optical illusion. *shruggs*

Keep going

Something urks me about the way the bell/lantern/spiked weight hangs from the staff.

the O doesn't seem like it could support the weight like that.

it's pointing out diagonally and holding something heavy vertically.

It looks really unnatural.

the O looks like it should hang vertically too.

As for the pants colouring, it seems like a bit much for me, but I'll just wait until you've gotten the boots and stuff done before i make any further comments.

keep going please ^^ looking forward to seeing this one

At first, the leg was very great even, but now with these settings was very good. And in the neck position, get the part where the shirt is beside him. For if you only color the part where the neck is transparent, it would be big.
