![]() Hi guys. I'm taking part in the Ludum Dare jam ( by the way, is anyone else? Good luck! ). Me and my programmer are making this bullet hell shooter with a unique mechanic, and inspired by korean art and mythology. Since you all know I'm crap at antialiasing and choosing palettes, and extra crap right now that I haven't even slept, I'd appreciate any and all critique. I know shades are too similar and I could eliminate a few, but I want an ultra soft look, especially on the background. I'll take a break to compose the music. Argh :) Updated the ship a little bit.By the way, if I choose 1 color (say the darkest blue) and always display it at 50% opacity in the .png sprites ( As a sort of context-aware antialiasing. ), is it still pixelart? wish I had crits but it's all pretty good. obviously there is refinement missing (banding and jaggies and etc), but that's not top priority in a time-crunch. I like the asymmetrical ship design. fox logo is also a good design.

The fox logo is, alas, not mine. I re-worked a Korean drawing. Kumiho is a spirit fox with nine tails. An evil spirit, she has actually posessed a ship, to stop Mako, the Progenitress Goddess from destroying nature. I know there's tons of banding everywhere... I'm not sure how to spot it in a hurry, much less correct it... Thank you for the encouragement c! If you spot any eyepopping mistakes I'd be very grateful if you told me |

it's a game making competition. You get 2 or 3 days and you make a complete game, either alone or with a team. And then you get voted. It's really fun, and exhausting |

This is amazing work and I was watching your progress closely.
