Hi,

I’m currently looking to pay to commission some artwork for a game project I’m currently developing.

The game is ‘top down’, although more in the slightly angled form you’d find in games such as Zelda, Mario RPG and suchlike.

I can provide more specific details to those interested, but the general overview of what I’m looking for is as follows:

• 5 / 6 animated game sprites, roughly 50 x 50 pixels in size (maximum) facing 4 directions (although left / right facing could be flipped)
• Each sprite must have animations for idle, moving and attacking cycles – again from the 4 available directions.
• Some general background art tiles (for flooring & walls).

I am willing to negotiate a good rate for the artwork, and would very much like to hear from those with experience in this field of artwork, and those that can provide some examples of similar work. Please send your rate details along with your introductory email.
