Thanks, but could you pick a small part of the picture and edit it correctly to illustrate my mistakes more clearly.
I would not agree though that dark edges are WRONG as a rule. Edited by LachieD - 31 July 2012 at 1:59pm |

Ah, cat girls. One of my favorite subjects! Interesting design too.
Just a quick edit. I noticed that there were very dark lines in some places, but none at all in others, which made it seem kind of inconsistent in that regard. I think defining the edges a bit more would help, if that's the style you're going for. Also, there is a bit of a lack in depth, especially on the face. Using more shadows would help the overall look of the peice I think, right now it looks kind of beveled and not dimensional. But it is a good start, good luck with the finished piece. |

Thanks for your suggestions. Good edits on the collar, but I was unable to effectively apply them on the latest version of my work. It went somewhat in other direction. Nice work on the clothes. Maybe with my next space cat I can take care more of that.
Lastest version (tried to add some 3rd dimension to the face):
Goes to my gallery. |

That looks a lot better, well done. I like the darker/more orange colors you used as well.
Looking forward to seeing more space cats as well. :D |

For me what stands out is the way the light hits her "shirt"
![]() Also, she doesn't seem to have anything that screams she is a girl other then her breast. I think her face could be a bit more attractive. Her hand looks very large.... don't think she would be comfortable holding her arms that way because her "size"
