Some bits are inspired by the village in a way, the rest are related to harpy's and folk-lore like that.

better yet, sh*t from my mind

Anyway, I know her RIGHT arm is kinda off, still working on the over all shape/pose.

CC is welcome and I like the way her boob looks

About HER right arm. Notice that when arm is hanging down, elbow must be at the same height as the waistline - slightly above the navel.
If we're speaking about a demon, maybe her left arm should be off in the same way too?

her center of gravity seems a little bit forward, maybe lean her back from the waste up somewhat to make that pose work

@Yuran - CC stands for Critique and Criticism.

@H|F - As you previously mentioned that the piece is partially based on harpy folk lore, they are historically depicted as having elongated arms. With that in mind, I think I prefer the look of her right arm, and would match up her shorter left arm with it, or meet it half way.

In regards to the pose, while Yuran's edit makes some great anatomical examples, it's not quite as dynamic as yours would be with a few modifications. It looks like you are going for a pose where she has her torso torqued. If this is the case, I would bring her rear leg further back, and show a little bit of butt.

Thanks Yuran. I prefer the pose she is in now for the most part as long as it is correct.

Nobu, you are right about me I did do that with her torso/hips for a reason, it wasn't suppose to be an error.

I do want things to look correct but I also have a look I am hoping to achieve.

I did a slight test with her right leg, it def isn't final yet.
I also added more of the design.

The skull is still attached to the spine and rib bones around her body (only some are still there deer have much more)

When I made the sketch, what I really wanted is the deer spine connecting with hers (fusing) or her spine growing outward in a monsterous style.

I'm leaving her other arm out till I get the pose/size I like and then you all can CC that arm as well. It will be in the same kind of pose but I think she will be slightly touching the skill.

Oh and I made her left arm (shown) longer Nobu, I agree with you.

EDIT:

I love the shading (I'm weird) of her boob but I do notice that it isn't "acting" natural and it should shag ever so slightly to her left (towards the viewer) I am editing it but idk if it looks right?

She is smiling under the mask :)
I will say a little bit of criticism:
If you do two breasts that she needs expand her shoulders a little bit more
I do not like her knee (sick rickets)
Her calf muscles too weak
Probably need even search at examples of shadow on her priest in this position, gluteal muscles should be stretched, and she have relaxed.

May add a bit of style of Marilyn Manson for her

A couple quick edits. Obviously, the boobs part is a joke. Obviously.

On a side note, this thread should probably be marked as containing nudity.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I added her right should as Yuran had mentioned, but I assume you would have added that when you put in her arm.

*tsk* *tsk* This much nudity really makes you start to wonder about some people. Looks good except for her right arm. Just try placing your hand on your shoulder like she has.

I think you just get better all the time and I always look closely at your work and admire how quickly you pick things up and up your pixel skill all the time. I especially have a weakness for female pixel pushers as there are so few good ones.
Today I found a few extra minutes to go on a c+c rampage and was going to keep it very short to c+c many threads but you have stopped me dead in my tracks!
---
How could you as a female, violate girl warrior rule #1 ... GIRL POWER.
Placing a male Buck's skull on your warrior is an epic fail...tsk,tsk.

Wow Jal,

Your comment shocked me, really didn't expect it!
Thank you ;D

Only thing is the last comment I don't get what that was about lol.

I guess I placed male skull on her because she is more dominant? It's just how I sketched her for some reason.

Do you think it takes away from the piece?

I was on a c+c rant so maybe nothing is wrong at all and my input should be ignored. I just looked at her and immediately wondered why she picked up a buck's skull in the woods (feet and hands tells me she lives and hunts in the woods) as decoration? It didn't seem to say much about her at all. Is there no other creature she identifies with? Deer are sort of weak and seen as prey more than hunters and being a female this item seemed illogical used in its entirety. Is there no menacing female skull? or an item that furthers her story in a more complete way.
Additionally, with you being a female artist the use of a 'masculine' object seemed a poor choice :/ Normally a male artist will create female warriors and make creative decisions with understandably male traits such as this suggestive 'male' piece which I love and think is great by a male artist but would have questioned if made by a girl.

I kinda expect girls to get it right when doing these type of thing and find a way to fight the 'Vallejo" effect. I would say same way things if you created a male warrior and included 'female' details. I should add that gender bending is 100% cool with me and sexuality doesn't always have to be adhered to but everything one adds to a piece should help tell the story and answer the viewers questions in a purely visual way.
---
As for your being shocked...don't be silly. Your positive development in pixelart skills and techniques should be evident to you by now in your own work ;)

noted,

She is suppose to be some kind of forrest demon. At the moment her face is more owl like and she has feathers around her hairline (which is far back for stylistic reasons) I don't in any way want her to look like an owl, I just want her face to be strange looking, think I got that down lol

anyway, I finished this,
