i got bored and wanted to make a small (and stupid game) called "run like a bitch"
Steve Stoopidface was just your regular average joe, visiting ???? on vacation.
Until a ????? saw him in a bordello, and mistook him for a wanted
spy. He was put on trial in the restroom by a judge, who was also a
prostitute, and sentenced to death.
He was taken to ?????, to a super duper top secret laboratory. They had plans for him...
They implanted a small explosive charge into his scrotum, then took him
outside where they informed him that he could live, all he had to do
was run to ????. However, if his heart rate dropped below 100
beats per minute, the bomb would detonate.
And now for Steve to save his nuts, he must...
RUN LIKE A BITCH
 sprites  i am open to any suggestions... EDIT: if there is anyone whom can program this, lemme know

- The warning screen is good stuff.
- When he trips...I just expect more from a bomb? Maybe a small puff of smoke at least..possibly from burning hair.
- The jump looks ok, except for his arms..up in the air like that looks kinda unnatural.

I found what looks weird with the jump animation:
Just as he's in midair, you made the legs kick forward, towards his head. But then you suddenly changed your mind and made him fall flat on his belly.
I think you should make his legs still be over his head when he's sliding (and eventually they can fall back down).
The running animation looks good, but he looks a bit too straight. I would have made the top half of his body lean forwards a bit, to show he's in movement and aerodynamic.

you could probably do it yourself with gamemaker art looks good.

if he doesnt know how to program actionscript 2.0 already, that is the last thing he should do. its a very confuzing language. anyone can pickup gamemaker quite quickly, its probobly the easyest way to make a good game.

i cant figure out game maker at all... so i am going to just look for someone to make it for me, or atleast get the basic crap done on game maker

Hilarious idea! I love the story, so don't change it.
I wish I had a bomb on my scrotum for two reasons.
1. I'd actually get off my ass and do some excercise.
2. If I didn't then atleast I'd get some action down there.
The miniture graphics also suit the game well. Good luck finding someone to code it Ens!

here is a graphics update  the jump and death animations look a tad odd, that is because they both have a sprite before they start, and the jump has one after thanks istvan, i know if i peaked your interest in a game idea, it must be weird... which is a good thing

I think the jump and eath look funny because the arc is unnatural, too long and flat.

I think he needs more power in his jump, at the moment he kinda flicks his toes and goes flying. Death anim seems fine to me.
I like the style of this so far! Don't really have any more crits, apart from the hills in the background look a bit too smooth and repetitive. Wh000t! I really like that run animation, and the general sprite is very nice.

I like the new background. Except for the hills in the back and the clouds. Those need a bit of work. I do like the trees though! nice!

I hate to throw a crit in about the running animation after the crits for jump and death. Usually when a person runs, they don't keep a stiff back, they lean forward to shift their center of gravity forward to propel them faster.
But then again, with the stiff back, it does look as if though ol' Steve Stoopidface really is running like a bitch. ;)

AH this reminds me so much of Space Quest and the sequals. the block
shapes and lack of shading. I love those old style games. and i guess
it looks a lot more like the first Prince of Persia. Or even Another
World, was that what that game was called? the one with the uni-tooth
slugs and death panther. - Anyway if you havent played those games you
should if you are going to make an old style game. I guess that is what
i am trying to say.
I hope you plan to have more than just one death animation. there
should be many ways the character can die: fall on spikes, crushed by
rocks, decapitated by swinging blades, all sorts of nasty.

i have alot of plans still to do for this...
death: mid air blast standing idle blast falling in a hole blast being eaten by a bear being attacked by a dog
enemies: bear dog some douche big ass bird
character: crouching sprinting fap
and still some more, many animations
