CHALLENGE: Food Stamps

From Gas13 comes this challenge:
  • Make a food related stamp using the provided template.
  • Add your country name to your stamp 
  • Stamp templates (80x96 or 160x96)
Your stamp will also be showcased in PJs PixelStamps Project

If you want your stamp to also appear at PixelStamps send your site URL (pixeljoint account is ok), coords, font and color for stamp price description to pixelstamps@gmail.com

See the FAQs for help with determining price coordinates.
Forum thread with lots of helpful details can be found here.

CHALLENGE RULES

  • Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
  • Only new pixels allowed.
  • Open to all members.
  • Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

  • Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
  • Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
  • Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

  • Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
  • Top finisher gets to call the following week's challenge...sweet.
  • 'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
  • No matter what happens you get challenged :)

Just to clear something...
If you, choose to submit to Gas13 your stamp too (and why wouldn't you). That version will not have a price on it. You may however place a stamp price on the challenge and PJ collab version (same one).


This is my stamp which I will not enter in the challenge since I made it a while back and its just been sitting on my hd.

Sure, nice idea. You can interpret "food" in any way. Just so it's easy to see it's "food" related.

Not that you pixel a bolt and add "it's a food for the robots of the future" :)

Oh you made a typo


Also, some of the lines look really harsh compared to others, one color was faily redundant I removed, and I think it could use some old fashioned dither. (see: top-left thing)

Yes, you are right.

Food is any substance, usually composed primarily of carbohydrates, fats, water and/or proteins, that can be eaten or drunk by an animal for nutrition and/or pleasure.

adi4x, it wasn't my idea, there were several interesting ideas and the food was the most popular.

I changed the extra color for a pinkier one to mix with the lights of the fruits.
Still gotta refine that dithering.

Nachos... nothing says food like gooey cheese out a can...

trying hard not to use any dithering.  and i know the chips color is a little off, I really want the cheese to stand out.

The cheese looks so cheesy.  And the plastic looks so.... plasticky!  Can't wait to eat... I mean, see it when it's done.
