Pixel Joint Forum: I'm new, please rate my pixels ^_^

   Hi I'm new to pixel art and to be honest I'm new to PC drawing. I'm pretty damn good at graphic design like logos, sigs etc but I use outside renders :/ I can make cool abstract wallpapers, but lets be real, that takes like 30 seconds for a mindblowing fractal. :P

Anyway, this is my first ever pixel art. I didn't pixel the yin yang :P. I'm getting this tattoo'd on my stomach, cuz it's my personal logo tenbinza hebi or libra snake. the spliff is a personal touch :

Then I had a little confidence so I went bigger and drew what would happen if I had Tec9s and a gram of acid. I did not pixel the bg :(:

Then I changed the original (without bg) to make the top look like my real one and changed the Tec9s to twin tantos - I drew the ones I'm getting ^^:

Please tell me what you think I know you're probably all 1000x times better but we were all newbs once right :D

	First things first. To be pixelart the entire canvas has to be made 'one pixel at a time'. Your attempt to go at these big sizes will get you into much trouble and frustration. To begin its best if your canvas is small, think 100 pixels x 100 pixels. Visit the gallery and you'll find nothing (very little) at these sizes for a reason.

	Ahh but I want to make big extravagant pixel art! :P Turns out, pretty much everything I do, I do in a secular way :P Can you comment please on the bit's I pixelled, what's the harm in giving me direction, even if I'm not drawing in a conventional style? :D Edited by Tenbinza - 09 June 2007 at 4:54pm
