Have Firefox3 users noticed that when you zoom a sprite it becomes blurred?
Right now there's a thread at http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=29934&forumId=1
where the issue is being discussed, but it seems that they simply don't "get it"

The issue is 'bileniar filtering' is ON by default in V3.
Browser must be somehow fiddled in the code to be turned 'OFF'
Ask your buddies at tiki-view to help with the hack then report here immediately :)

Terrible.  I just downloaded and installed Firefox 3 and now I see the problem with the bilinear filtering.  The browser is incredibly fast, which rocks.  It looks like I'll have to use a different browser for art related sites though.

Does Opera do the same?  Going to try it tomorrow.

I've used Opera for a brief period and it also filtered images, but I believe it can be turned off.

If anything, I think the answer to changing the blur is somewhere in about:config. Type it in the url bar. I've looked through it already, but I couldn't find anything about it.

That's been brought up before. It's not there.
