I'm sure many of you are familiar with dolling. One of my friends runs a website where you "buy" items for a doll to make all kinds of forum avatars. She has asked me to create a pair of the most wrinkled, baggiest pants I can imagine.

It's a lot more annoying than I imagined. I'm not happy with anything above the knees, especially on her right thigh. I'm not using a reference image which is probably contributing to the unrealistic look. The belt is just a place holder for now, I will go back and redo it.

Any help would be great.

I'd say you just need to make them a lot baggier overall, you're making them wrinkled but still fitted to the legs so those two concepts are fighting eachother. Let the pants sag a bit more around the crotch and upper thigh area, have them bunch up more at the lower legs.

hope that helps!

No, she added the WIP I originally posted to site thinking it was finished and all the users love them. :x

I guess people who don't know anything about form or realistic folds love overrendered stuff lol.

Seriously ? Well it was looking ok to be honest, but still weird.
