Hello! I am currently creating an app for windows phone. I am currently in high school trying to build up my portfolio to apply to colleges to. I should be able to get into any school I want based on grades but if I want to get into the school of computer science, I need to make more GOOD apps!
The app I plan on creating is somewhat like Farmville. The general idea is that you get money and XP from growing crops. Here is the twist, you are growing illegal drugs like Marijuana (no I don't smoke) and because you are dealing with illegal substances, you have to build up your gang and workout deals with the cops so you don't get caught! There is no game like Farmville or Weed Farm on Windows Phone 7 so I think we should be good there. Also, Windows 8 is coming out soon. I am also developing this for that platform too! No worry, all art can be recycled for that!
I am not sure how many pictures I will need drawn for the app as I have never developed a game this big before but I am guessing it will be around 30-40ish.
I plan on creating two versions of the game. An ad driven one and a paid version of the game for $2.99
I am offering %25 of all profits ever made from this app for however long it makes money.
I am looking for an artist that draws more cartoon like stuff instead of realistic. I need the artist to be able to draw:
1.Terrain (grass, dirt, trees)
2.Buildings (Houses, Sheds)
3.Plants (Variations of Marijuana)
4.Characters (For the create your character page, Gang Members and the Police)
5.Currency (Coins, Dollars)
6.Words (Things like "Weed Farm")

Is a massive under estimate of what you'll need.
I don't want to be all negative so I'll suggest what you should do first if you want someone to take you seriously with a profit share. Write a design document and create a full asset list.

After taking in what you said, I do agree that my number of pictures is far off from what it should be. I will do a recount of pictures and come up with a more complete list at a later date. Thanks for your input.
