 Hello I am Tyler from Storm Tower Games. Currently we are in need of a pixel artist. We are a relatively young development team and but we have experience and know how to setup the development of a game. Ever since we were ten we wanted to make games(the super duper MMO). Even though we didn't know what programming was we still made games in power point using hyperlinks. Nox Aeterna is going to be a complex Rpg game were the world is not centered around you. Just because you live in it and have a kick ass sword doesn't mean everybody wakes up when you wake up and eats when you eat. The aim is to make the Town/Npc as complex as we can without running the frame limit into the roof. Using very simple already put in place systems such as A* and way point following, and a kick ass Npc manager. Basically we want to add to the game as our technical and artistic experience grows. In this game we want the maps to stand out and be breath taking. Chris and me have been using Rpg maker for years and have picked up all the little tips and tricks of powerful mapping and we have designed the map maker to help us feel right at home. But also the engine will compensate for dynamic areas e.g. Towns and Cities where their wealth can grow/shrink. The Game So Far: so far we have the basic engine of the game up including: Tile Based Engine Multiple Floors Spell Attacks Classes/Gender Selection Half Working Inventory Working Map/Content Editor Conversations Here are some screenshots: The map editor  Content Editor  In Game  Talent Needed: Here are the skills we are looking for. Pixel Artist: Thorough knowledge of their preferred drawing tool. Examples of good animation techniques(e.g. Walk cycle). Examples of tiles and smooth looping. Able to work with a limited palette. General Skills: Friendly and easy to get along with. Can speak fluent nerd. Can speak English Skype/Msn(for easy group chat). enthusiastic. Die hard game player.
