The first game Skuba/Corey ever played was probably pokemon yellow on gameboy color, he cannot remember if he played the nintendo 64 before then or not. Ever since games like pokemon on gameboy, where he could see the pixels, Corey has been fascinated by these drawings and animations. Ever since about 5 years old he was drawing cartoons and such, although at about age 11 and 12 Corey started to grow fond of Rpg maker which his older brother had dicovered from his school and downloaded to their computer. Around this period of time is also when Corey came across Nitrome, a game website with outstanding graphics. After this he thought he would have a go at isometric drawings and small sprites. He drew these on a program called Idraw3, which he downloaded for drawing on Rpg-maker. Very soon after he stumbled across pixeljoint and took a look at the gallery. He was amazed by the peices on the site and was stunned at what could be done by hand on a computer. He signed up and started posting pixel art, while studying the default RPG-maker characters and sprites. As he progressed he found even better types of art, along with anti-aliasing and then dithering, and started to study the pixeljoint art and use trial and error to get similiar to what he wanted. Now it is 2009, Corey hopes to someday be able to produce such work as Bisque, Paxjah or Cocefi.
Sorry if some peices looked rushed but I have limited time on the computer and I easily get bored if it takes to long![]()
