Stitchy Bio:
Stitchy is a crazy female, and has been drawing since she could ever pick up a pencil... and was seen always filling in the tiny areas in coloring books first. She first got into "anime" (aka dubbed Sailor Moon) when she was about 7, and probably developed her blood fetish and her want to draw with detail from reading Magic Knight Rayearth at age 9.

When she was about 10, she began to play video games, as she is an only child and hasn't any older siblings that would have begged her parents to buy a console. Eventually, all these things lead to obsessions with art, animation and video games. Stitchy started out making dolls (though maybe the larger, less crappy ones than one might see the average pre-teen make,) but moved into full-fledged pixel art around the time she first found Pixel Joint and joined.

She loves to make characters, and make sure the worlds they live in are as grand as she tries to make those characters. Besides pixel art, Stitchy sketches, CG paints, makes wallpapers, writes, translates Japanese haphazardly, and reads lots of manga. She has a weakness for music with string instruments, she speaks Swedish (but she was never taught to write it, so she would have to voice chat to prove it,) and she always seems to be the mediator in an arguement. She loves mysteries, actual plots, tough girls, nice guys, cats, and saganaki. Lastly, her favorite video game ever is Chrono Cross... and don't you forget it.

I actually like the background. I don't know what it is about this piece, but I really like it. :0

Hmm, I still like the piece, but I honestly liked what you posted in the forum much better. The dithering seems too stark and perhaps a little too much. I also preferred the pink in the corner, the contrast between the warm and cool colors was beautiful.

OMG. Simply amazing, my friend. D8

I really adore the shading on the car, but to me most of the rest of the piece is sort of overshaded and could be implied with less shades. Other than that, this is really well done. 8D

LOL. Freaking hilarious.

I think this piece would look better without the black outlines on the face and shirt, though.

This is seriously awesome. The shading on the hair is so solid and detailed. I wanna see you do more! 8D

Um, lol. Great entry!

The only thing that really bothers me is that the background doesn't curve right.

At least he isn't doing it with a pen.

This fucking rules. 8D The colors and shading are just... superb.

I especially like the bass and the perch. The light outlining and shading on the perch's belly is just... ooh. :'D Though, I think the trout and pike could use some more contrast to make them look more catchy and interesting.

So fucking cool, grave. It definitely takes patience to do this sort of thing. Sorry to hear about the podcast.

Yep, it's pretty damn sweet now. Could use some touch-ups here and there, but you might have to figure out how to perfect it yourself. c:

Yeah, but you still need more frames to transition to when he turns to (our) left. Looking much better!

Well, even still, I think his head could be lengthened a bit to make his face look a tad older. Cool colors and AA, though.

Pretty damn sweet, but I still think it needs more frames for it to be a truly smooth animation.

I agree with Cure that you don't need that dithering on his tongue is unnecessary. Solid shading could work just fine. Though, I don't see where this "gradient" is. /squint

I think you could also drop that bright green that appears on its fingers. Otherwise, this is really cute. 8D

His foot needs to stay on and near the ground longer. Try adding one or two more additional frames after the last frame you have in your animation, so that it better transitions between the last frame and the first frame.

Neato! This piece is really well designed, and I think the nearly invisible text really works in its favor.

I think the suns rays could be a little thicker and more succulent, though, considering it's about yearning. But that's just me.
