Age: 30's ~ Interests: pixels, mmorpg, anime, movies, music ~ started dolling & pixelling 9/04 however most of my experience is in dolling but trying to branch out more :)
kendi64 @ 8/22/2009 1:06:41 PM commented on Ice What doll base is this on? it has to be credited if one is used
kendi64 @ 6/10/2009 8:02:43 PM commented on Blue Spaceship Yes the game Spore in the later stages of the game where you can build ships. I haven't played around too much in the game but wanted the pixel to look something that could be possbly built in the game
kendi64 @ 6/9/2008 2:57:13 PM commented on Unicorn There is such low contrast in most of your colors that you could cut down the number of colors by dithering. However the first thing that caught my eye was the dark outline on the plating which looks too dark imo
kendi64 @ 6/4/2008 9:07:39 AM commented on Gothess Base needs to be included in description http://www.apitchou.com/
kendi64 @ 6/4/2008 8:50:46 AM commented on Fugue I don't say it often but I think this is *cute* with the ears sticking out and its tail - I'm in love with the palette and the contrast in the colors and good job on the directional lighting. The grass is simple but works realyl well with him
kendi64 @ 6/4/2008 8:48:13 AM commented on Takahashi Meijin IMO it would look much better if the strong black lines on the skin were a dark skin color, the black is too harsh.
kendi64 @ 6/4/2008 8:46:30 AM commented on Peace and Love the skin colors and shading is really nice, but I think more contrast in the hair and blue scarf/sash would help with the "too flat" look k_e_t_t_e_l is talking about. I thought the glasses turned out pretty good too
kendi64 @ 6/4/2008 7:45:58 AM commented on Voodo Harry Yeah the character himself is pretty cool looking - pose and palette. I do like the green leafy part, but the tree feels a little too contrast-y to me. I like the background with the exception of the lightest blue because it stands out too much for me and the dark red mixed in with the sparkly effect seems to much contrast but the swirls and sparkles came out well
kendi64 @ 5/29/2008 12:37:35 PM commented on Pingamster Needs to be transparent in order to be accepted
kendi64 @ 5/29/2008 12:33:44 PM commented on This milk tastes like milk. the baby's clothes outline has nice contrast compared to the shading colors, but everthing else has much less contrast, making it hard to tell what it is
kendi64 @ 5/16/2008 2:10:38 PM commented on Demon Sword Too many colors, it looks like the file did not save correctly
kendi64 @ 4/29/2008 12:09:51 PM commented on Clone Trooper Those iaza links will not stay permanent. you need to copy the file and put in an online photo site (i.e. photobucket, imageready, etc)
kendi64 @ 4/17/2008 8:45:33 AM commented on SHMUP ship round 2 Nice job - I like the details in purple and blue areas much more than a solid color. This version is much more detailed and crisp looking
kendi64 @ 4/17/2008 8:38:28 AM commented on Lefty I found this topic that may be of some use http://www.zybez.net/community/index.php?showtopic=724901
kendi64 @ 4/16/2008 1:30:18 PM commented on Avatar Well done! I love the white on the inside of the lens to simulate the depth of the lens
kendi64 @ 4/16/2008 1:28:11 PM commented on Lefty I like the colors used, but you may want to clean up the lineart, very jagged looking in various places and maybe do more outline in a lighter color like you had in a couple places
kendi64 @ 4/16/2008 1:25:38 PM commented on SHMUP Ship WIP If a tool (burn/dodge) was used, you will need to redo the whole think, keep the line art and pixel it by hand and resubmit it
kendi64 @ 4/14/2008 10:52:07 AM commented on PixelID Peerkuh You will need to remove the left side and link in it the description since it it not pixel art in order for it to be considered. Also will need to take out the white background nad make it transparent
kendi64 @ 4/14/2008 10:49:46 AM commented on BigDaddy (BioShock) Pixelized npa=non pixel art. Since the outer glow is done with a tool, it will have to be removed, or pixel in a "glow" yourself. Also the eyes would need to be fixed since that looks like maybe smudged?
kendi64 @ 4/12/2008 5:57:27 AM commented on Growth Iaza will make it transparent - you have to make each frame transparent. I did it with iaza on my current av pixel
kendi64 @ 4/10/2008 11:10:45 AM commented on Steel Beast You need to make this transparent before submitting. you can go to iaza.com to make transparent then edit this
kendi64 @ 4/10/2008 11:07:13 AM commented on doodle 1 Agree, post it in the forum. the line art would need to be cleaned up and you have various stray pixels that do not make sense. Pixel art is all my hand, no tools used
kendi64 @ 4/7/2008 9:15:46 AM commented on Lil' Harry 4 color palette (gray, black, white and green)
kendi64 @ 4/3/2008 12:42:55 PM commented on Glark! I touched up a little more inner aa and toned it down a little in saturation, but I did have a bit of a hue shift as the darker colors are more red and shifted it to a more blue/purple and the stripes go from a blue towards aqua. Thanks for the comments - this one was fun to do! BTW, I didn't want the thumb to be totally the same - just close enough :)
kendi64 @ 4/1/2008 7:43:59 AM commented on Blink City It gave me a scare for a moment until I remembered what day it is! *where is the b*tch-slap emote?* Opacus - I love the link! I want to play WOW again now :) |
