Yes the game Spore in the later stages of the game where you can build ships. I haven't played around too much in the game but wanted the pixel to look something that could be possbly built in the game

There is such low contrast in most of your colors that you could cut down the number of colors by dithering. However the first thing that caught my eye was the dark outline on the plating which looks too dark imo

I don't say it often but I think this is *cute* with the ears sticking out and its tail - I'm in love with the palette and the contrast in the colors and good job on the directional lighting. The grass is simple but works realyl well with him

IMO it would look much better if the strong black lines on the skin were a dark skin color, the black is too harsh.

the skin colors and shading is really nice, but I think more contrast in the hair and blue scarf/sash would help with the "too flat" look k_e_t_t_e_l is talking about. I thought the glasses turned out pretty good too

Yeah the character himself is pretty cool looking - pose and palette. I do like the green leafy part, but the tree feels a little too contrast-y to me. I like the background with the exception of the lightest blue because it stands out too much for me and the dark red mixed in with the sparkly effect seems to much contrast but the swirls and sparkles came out well

the baby's clothes outline has nice contrast compared to the shading colors, but everthing else has much less contrast, making it hard to tell what it is

Those iaza links will not stay permanent. you need to copy the file and put in an online photo site (i.e. photobucket, imageready, etc)

I like the colors used, but you may want to clean up the lineart, very jagged looking in various places and maybe do more outline in a lighter color like you had in a couple places

If a tool (burn/dodge) was used, you will need to redo the whole think, keep the line art and pixel it by hand and resubmit it

You will need to remove the left side and link in it the description since it it not pixel art in order for it to be considered. Also will need to take out the white background nad make it transparent

npa=non pixel art. Since the outer glow is done with a tool, it will have to be removed, or pixel in a "glow" yourself. Also the eyes would need to be fixed since that looks like maybe smudged?

Iaza will make it transparent - you have to make each frame transparent. I did it with iaza on my current av pixel

Agree, post it in the forum. the line art would need to be cleaned up and you have various stray pixels that do not make sense. Pixel art is all my hand, no tools used

I touched up a little more inner aa and toned it down a little in saturation, but I did have a bit of a hue shift as the darker colors are more red and shifted it to a more blue/purple and the stripes go from a blue towards aqua. Thanks for the comments - this one was fun to do! BTW, I didn't want the thumb to be totally the same - just close enough :)
