Castle types :: Pixel Art Detail

What style of architecture are used in these castles????

As i already said: I like it, so - no offence, just some more hairsplitting: Taking a closer look, I wonder if you think about the "usefulness"/authenticity of your buildings. Castles (that also need to have attributes of a stronghold) wouldn't have swingdoors (your enemys could block the way out), but maybe that's just the cliché in my head. And, how would you come from inside the castle into the outer towers (without leaving the shelter of the castle?). There is no connection in beetween. Also, the merlons (which are supposed to give shelter to the defending snipers on the roof) of the main building seem to be "capped" by some wooden deck. Sorry, if I'm too fussy :)

chanfan I agree with you, but I have limit 133x133px maximum and If I make "round center" higher than I can't make 4 towers outside :( and jalonso If I make roof cone higher  than I have overhang, but "round center" will be low or wall of the Castle will be low :(

That are some problems for me when I make that castle !

Imagician agreed man I try to make more contrast places in the future and if I have time correct some old works ... my new works which I make in the moment I'll listen you ;)

I love this! The textures are so good, and they keep you interested and dont repeat a great deal. The design of the castle is also realy good.
I just plain love it. Keep it up!

Awesome isos you make. The only crit on this is there's no overhang on the biggest of the blue cone roofs.

Again, I really like this stuff. But I really think (as said before) the texture (wallbricks, for example, or rooftiles) look too homogeneous, to repetitive, too unnatural. Try to add more variation, maybe. Maybe it's sometimes good to have less definition in some certain (very lighted or very dark) places (less is more, sometimes, ...so that's it for now )

I like it alot.. But I think you should change more on the castle than just adding towers.. Maybe make the round center tower bigger or higher and maybe add some more  details such as thicker walls on the watchtowers or maybe add an outer wall that follows the edges of the watchtowers if you know what I mean.. :D

All of the iso buildings you've put up lately have been pure sex. These are simply fantastic. If there are more... post them! Post them now!
