A little more texture variation, perhaps.
The roundedness of the highlighting at left of the hat top seems wrong versus the way the brim is shaded.
(i find the clothes also too shiny.. but maybe plausible.. I think making him seem dusty(as in from the ground) makes sense -- rough clothing tolerates dust better so wearing something shiny is fairly unlikely for a cowboy)

 You already heard my criticism, but I'm giving it again because I love it.
 
 I could really see this as a portrait from an rpg or something, its got great color selection, and its smooth. Absolutely adore it.
