i really like the rendering of the sprite, but i too am not as convinced of the portrait. i made a little edit, if you don't mind, though i'm afraid i might have gotten carried away a bit. i also made some very quick adjustments to the sprite. well, take from it what you likehttp://miascugh.ptoing.net/pixels/ahruonedit.gif

Awesome pixeling but I'm not fond of the sprite design, the character is not very "stylish". I liked kronimides better =)Still I give it 5/6 :P

Very nice Ahruon, can't say i like it as much as the kronimides one though. I think the portrait may look cool with some of the hair on his back around him, at the moment, with the way it's done, i think it seems as if his shoulders lower too quickly. Hopefully that made sense :)

the character has a very sinister and savage look, I especially like the 'spiky' appearance and the mesh on the character's left arm. very nice lines.

I like the sprite a lot, but I ain't sure about the portrait. Can't really explain why but somethings bugging me about it. If I can figure it out I'll comment again.

perhaps the facial hair could be blended in a little less harshly with the skin? still though its a ver nice piece, * * * * * * from me

You seem too hairy now. :\the design, the sprite, the shading, everything else. its all kickass though.

It'd be nice to see more color in the sprite. Pieces that look this desaturated on a comp monitor will tend to look even grayer on a GBA or mobile system.
Try flipping the portrait. Might want to center the nose a bit, maybe try to unify the head with the body.

The sprite is brilliant, but I'm such a fan of the portrait...and the work on the fur/hair is soooo amazing!
