Agrees with Lollige. You maybe could use another color (like lighter gray) on the texture instead of having the same color as the "wall lines".
But overall: SUPERB iso. 5/5!

Great! But I have a few things: the roof texture doesnt look that good to me, and there is missing a part of the roof on the right.. a black line could be used there :p

just a small update, I did a quick edit to remove the npa parts and in case of the roof added a handpixeled one. I might revisit it later to make it more interesting, for now it was just an edit to follow the pixelart only rule more closely :)

ah yes, I guess you guys are right. Obiously, the roof and smudged sidewalk are not handpixeled (the sidewalk itself is, just not the darkened parts) I never thought of it that way, seeing as I come from a 3d cg background and using photoshop things to enhance and break up regular parts to make it unique. I do appreciate the crits though and will redo those parts that are deemed unworthy so to speak :) guess I broke a couple of pieces of rule nr 6 ey

i like that there are little details to pull you in like the suicide.  my concern though is that the style of the trees clashes too much with the style of the rest of the piece, perhaps the piece could be kicked up a bit to match it?

One other non-pixel art bit is the gradient you used on the sidewalk. Still, this work shows a lot of talent. Keep up the good work and consider checking out the forum if you ever need help.

I first noticed your stamp and was rather impressed by your sense of design. I then checked out your profile and avatar and your site too. Its there that I first saw this. Of course I love many things about it. In particular your breaking up the iso box into such an appealing design. I did also notice that you claim to be new to pixelart. For this reason I will point out that the texture on the roof is obviously not true pixelart since you have simply added noise or used some sort of tool for this. This is unnacceptable in pixelart and you really should rework that area to conform to the style. Otherwise your talent is obviously there and hope to much more from you. I do get a sense that you have formal training or a complete artistic natural.
