thanks for the comments + favs. i'll probably update with a tounge cause i think thats a totally wicked idea. i got a bit lazy towards the end. maybe i'll keep the iris a bit longer and AA the later frames. we shall see.

This is really neat, but I think it would be much better if the pupil grew with consistency. It gets really jerky when the pupil goes from round to start filling out the shape of the eye. I'd also like to see that strong highlight on the white of the eye carried over to the pupil and iris as it grows.

I see you changed how the eye opens? I like it, it starts out opening nice, but then after the iris disappears the top half stops for a frame while the bottom expands and it looks a bit funny. also try AAing the mouth while it's opening, it looks a little harsh.

you could even take it further by making the teeth move around, or maybe have a vicious tongue lash out?
