Awesome, I always love to see sprites. Great work overall and great pose. One suggestion though-- perhaps you can put some seperation in the chest ..

Judging by the pose, I'm guessing he is a capoeria fighter? I think for the most part, the anatomy is ok, however the foreshortening of his left fingers are tid bit long. Also his feet seem to resemble that of the Cat in the Hat. This is probably due to the shading style you got going on though. It kinda' reminds me of some type of messy dithering and it could be a little cleaner to help define smaller body parts, like his toes, and fingers. Also, you might want to consider choosing some more exciting colors, or design to go with the character, as of right now, he's looking a lil boring, although this is primarily my general opinion, and will probably vary with others. That and his nipples look a little off...

In spite of that, it's still a great pose, and the work done on the head and face is great...just a little work with anatomy and foreshortening and you got it down...great job

Damn, judging from the preview picture this could almost have been adult content ;) You're going in the right direction but there are things you need to improve, mainly to do with perspective. I know you're trying to make the left arm look as if it's further away, but it looks more as if it was just extra short. The feet also look rather stubby, you might want to make them a bit longer.

Overall your style is nice and you have a good color palette, keep working on it :)

The neck looks like a bulge of mucsle rather than a neck. I also think you should have a line seperating each pec. other than that, pretty good. can't wait for a portrait
