wow I guess I can I moved the nose a pixel to the right (my right), I added eyes, I don't know how to change the hair (I know how to do it, I just don't know what to do T_T)
I will cahnge the hair, I did originally have a lightsource, but the background was just there it wasn't supposed to affect it in anyway, I guess I can't update it now that I have already put it up here can I?, yes I most certainly have but my crappiest peice was like when I was 11, but I made my first peice when I was like 5, it was always about james bond, and for my age they were pretty good
Don't make excuses for your poor behavior. I put up with people's shitty attitudes every single day and I still manage to be civil and constructive. Maybe you just need to learn some self-control and dicipline.
Hey, this needs work, but there's no need to be such an asshole about it. Say something constructive at least.
It looks like you started this piece without reallygetting the fundamentals down first. It's fine to have the hair covering the face, but the features should still be distinguishable on the non-covered part. I'd suggest drawing his whole face on one layer and then doing the hair on another layer - position the strands so that you can still make out the facial features. Also pay attention to the shape of the skull under neath the hair. Hair has some of its own body, but it is still affected by gravity and will somewhat fit the shape of the skull.
Pay attention to your lightsources. You have drawn the sun in your background, so therefore your major lightsource is behind your character, but this isn't reflected in the shading on him. Before you start colouring at all you should sketch in your light source so you can keep it consistent.
Someone in the WIP forum mentioned that the hair looks like bananas, and they're right. Anime hair is usually drawn in clumps, but if you look at most anime, the clumps aren't all the same size and they don't all radiate from the central part. You can separate clumps of hair into smaller clumps further down the legth of the hair to give it some variation.
The background looks really cartoony and flat. I'd really suggest using a reference for scenery and also desaturating and lightening your background colours. If you look out to the horizon, the further away you get, the more faded out things get, and they take on a bluish-grey hazy quality.
Keep working on this - use references and study up on anatomy and lighting.
well, the shading sucks, it looks nothing like anime, the background is horrible, he looks like he's squeezing his eyes shut, his face is demented, and his hair looks like a mop. this doesn't even deserve a rating
