@ Sohashu: I use msPaint for everything that's pixels. I'm a creature of habit I guess.

@ Imagician: You are correct in a way. What the hieroglyphs actually say is "Snak". I couldn't find an E and the sites I came up with gave different answers (silly, I know). However, hyeroglyphs are spoken sounds, so the noises I chose should give the sound 'Snake' in english (as the e is silent) given that the site is correct. The last sign the sign for knowledge, because I knew what it said, and you didn't. Untill now that is...

I've been finding more credible sites recently, so I might change the signs.

Sorry for the doublepost. Just started looking up the hieroglyphics in the Gardiner's Sign List. First letter is "S", second is "N", so I guess including the rest (that I was to tired to look up by now) is about to form your handle "snake" . What do I get as a price ?

P.S.: Do the hieroglyphics on the back wall have a meaning?

Since It's been brought up. The colour count, not including the template, is 9 in total. Could have gone with 7, but I decided that the hues were too warm for the background.

There are 14 colors, including the filmstrip.

@eckered: With the exception of the filmstrip template itself, I only counted about 8 to possibly 10 colors with my eyes only...Definitely not greater than 31, guy. And even if the piece had 31 colors, the rules list 32 as bieng the max number of colors used. If anything, it wasn't "overdid" but moreover, "well conserved."....just a little fyi!....

amaising use of color, and great linework.  the anatomy si great acept the hands are slightly huge.  incredable job on the wrapping stuff, and the text is awasome.  you also did a really god job on the detailing on the wall.  although the one problem i think you have is taht there is a 31 color limit, which it looks like overdid.

I must say...that is quite amazing.

I think ??? would better suit this situation and mummy's right shoulder shouldn't be that bright (at least looking at the other parts it seems there's no light from that side).

I always enjoy beautiful monotone work. I would love to be able to do monotone but you have it nailed. The movement in this piece is excellent...And the mummy even has a slight look of surprise. Extremely well done. I am so glad I haven't entered this year lol XD
