Pixelween is really successfull since it brought such a great pixel artists here :) Great scene.

Either there's another lighting source or gremlin should be partly darkened.

Crites were my favorite characters since childhood, and my brother and I have developed a lot of our own character ideas based on them... one of which is a KS - kroitus seriousus - a blatant crite ripoff, but with a much more complicated backstory and nature: )
I had an idea for a Gremlins VS Critters puzzle-platformer game a while back, but never got past drawing a couple of sprites.
I initially wanted to add more gremlins into the piece, but was afraid it will make it even busier than it already is... however I might still do that. That, and a giant crite ball rolling over gremlins in the background: )

Ha ha this is absolutely awsome, I said over in Imagicians pixelween entry that Critters and Gremlins would be a cool fight.  My fav idea and entry so far. I love the way that the Critters are wearing Gizmos head as a hat. I would have liked to see some of the characters fropm Gremlins 2 in there too tho , like the gameshow host gremlin, electrick gremlin, spider gremlin and drag queen gremlin. And mebs the Crite with  the bald patch (Gosh its sary how I can remember all these old films so well).  Now all its gonna take to top this idea is for  someone to do a piece with the two most scary villans of my childhood, headless witch Princess Mombie and the wheelers from Return to OZ VS the Child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, now THAT ould be a fight. Anyways enough remenissing......well done on this piece, brilliant idea, even better execution. fav

I really like the Gremlin's ear going out of scene - great dynamic touch. The background creates a wonderful atmosphere. Great use of color too.

Oh f*ck... my chances to get a somewhat high rank just dropped one place Very well done, can't believe you did this in 6h (wow). The moody lighting/choice of colors and the arrangement is really good. I also like the details (Mogwai/Gizmo, the barn and the roadsign and the Gremlin in the back being attacked by two critters jumping on him (?) )

I love the glowing eyes of the crites jumping the gremlin in the background.  Post more of your work please.

Jeez the competition is getting incredibly good so far...My favorite parts of this piece are the clouds in the background, and the Gizmo scalp on top of the main critter(kudos for choosing critters. I though I was the only one who remembered that movie!) Great job!!
