I love the texturing and the overall technique, but you need to give us a sense of visual hierarchy. Emphasize the focal point, and use other objects to give a sense of the depth and framing.

The whole image is a bit confusing... waaay too much differently colored stuff on a small space :0] when zoomed in its a lot better though

Nice textures and I like the character, but the lighting is very confusing. I would imagine the main lightsource would be the moon, but all the shadows go the other way. The whole piece is flattened quite a bit because of that.
