This might be a WIP.. it might not... still undecided. Had a lot of really helpful C+C to help me out. Can't thanks those ladies enough.

Done for a couple of contest's over at http://www.eclectic-blue.com/blueribbon. I wanna' win... the deadline for both contests is far off so I'm holding off submitting as long as I can bear until I decided what else I want to do with her. I've been told to go ahead and submit her though and move on.. lol

Thank you so much! I have no idea if I'll win though I hope I will. Even if I don't I think this peice has really helped me improve and expand the way I approach doll making. Ok sure dolling isn't what most people would probably call 'art' but its its own art form.. lol

Anywho your support is much appreciated and I can't tell you how flattered I am but all the positive input I've gotten!

Yeah using that pattern technique in dolling can be tricky and I've never been a strong shader. I do think though this particular peice has really started my own little journey of discovery. Hopefully in the future I'll have improved enough to be able to look back.. and truly see it for the peice of crap it is. haha At the moment.. I'm lovin' my Jamaican woman.
