I saw all those walkcycles and had to try it myself, so here's my first walk animation. The cruel barbarian walks forth, hoping to encounter someone for slaughter. I may use it for a little platform game. C+C if you like.. UPDATED Thanks to the people at Pixelation I've got a better version now! I changed the palette a bit, and did some overall changes to the head and hair..

Nice animation. Good to see each frame has been redrawn. It looks far more natural than the old cut and paste job I so often see.

thanks for the reply's! I'm aware of the colours and details, and I'm working on a better version. And it's always nice to hear that the animation is great since I'm really new into this, this really motivates me! ;)

The animation is great. The sprite looks good. The coloring is the weakest part.

I like the smooth animation , but think need more detail and defined parts, view in 2x seems "dirty".
