I use ImageReady for my animations. That will work well. You must let it know which color should be transparent or check the transparency button on the output box. I use a mac so a PC may have it in a different place but its there, look for it. You'll know you got it right when you see the checkered background.

the head does bob, also, ive used giffy on it. giffy doesnt support animations, only bmp/gif single frame images. ive also tried image ready and couldnt find anything. thanks for the comment though.

that's very decent ... even good I'd say ... would be damn hard I'm sure but would've been nice I think if the head had a slight bob to it. it looks rather fixed to his shoulders.
but that's about it ...
