This is a rather old piece I did for fun... I did some experimenting to see if I was any good with scrolling background and stuff... took me a bit of time, too...
It is not quite 'shootemup-ish' because the player does not shoot at all, but, well, there's the concept :)

There's a slight bug, the shadow kinda flashes over the plane once, but I'm one lazy bastard so it stays for now :)

This is so cute!! ^^ I want a tiny tiny little game, smaller than a tamagotchi, maybe a ring XD with this as a game! That would be awsome XD

I like this the most out of your gallery, especially because of the double outline on the ships.

yeah, hehe, it was the first pic I posted on pixellation along time ago :)

Cool, reminds me of Blue Max on the C64.

THE KAPPTIN (Level 5 Captain) at 11/28/2006 12:19:57 PM

Cool. I like the ships, and the black outlines + simple bg's would surely be effective in a game. I don't like the water quite so much. Something about the shoreline bothers me; could just be that that bright blue wave is too bright for me.

If this were made into a game, I think the screen would have to be about 6 times as big (twice as high, 3 times as wide) and it would probably be a fun game.

yeah I like it too. dig the thick outlines and its so bright and colourful. well done.

I think this is wonderful. Great bright colours, and superb animation.
