Probably something more simple would have been better and took less time.

There are many thoughts on the matter but the color count seems high for this. Yes, compys will show millions of colors so whats the big deal right. Between us pixelart fans the challenge of using as few colors as possible is a very admirable and respect garnering skill. It not only shows the precise pixel placement that defines pixelart but refelects on the origins of the medium when even 256 colors seemed magical. As you have learned all to well since joining PJ. A high color count can lead to unfair accusations (cough, cough...NobleClock) that are not only not worth the trouble, Pixelart looks better with fewer colors too.
About the pixel, it could have benefitted froma little more contrast.
