I think it's better now. I don't know if you're still working on this, but some dim background (trees, clouds or hills with one dark color) would surely spice it up - the big black part makes it look a bit unfinished.

Gives a nice nostalgic feel. I really like this piece, but I'm not sure about the purple. I think the orange you used on the ground would add more depth to the trees, although the purple separates the background better.
