@ The B.O.B., I feel honored, the palette was partly taken from a limited palette pixelation challenge, I'm not experienced with palettes like that.
@ jahgheejoon, thanks for pointing that out - I'm really glad it worth as I had another, more colorful palette but the alien was as bright as the ship and that was the problem as I decided.
@Emanu, good point. I'll tell you the truth, the name for the piece supposed to be "mind control" but my wife said he's too sad to control the ship and I added blinking animation instead of concentration one :)

I like it, but the folding out of weapons and hatches and stuff feels really unmotivated...it ruined the "story" a bit for me!

I said it on DA and I'll say it here:  This is great.  The use of contrasts between the alien and the background/ship really show through.  Keep it up, man!

Yay! I've been waiting for another piece from you. I love the dirty colors you chose for it. I do believe the moon could use some smoothing out, though, as it's looking kind of choppy. Great job, anyhow. I do believe you have the best entry so far...
