A very beautiful scene. I think a little more detail on the orange characters closer to the sea would bring out the depth a bit more. Very nice colours :)

The colors are nice and warm. The eclipse IS a little inaccurate (seen an eclipse myself) but that's okay, the way you did it looks cool.

philipptr, i have seen an eclipse with my own eyes (almost go blind, not recomendable by the way), and the part where the two "objects" begin to unite turns black. This piece is good as it is, just an observation.

Actually I don't agree with Dra_chan about the moon being black, since this seems to be a pretty hazy scene, which would make the moon appear just as bright as the sky behing the sun (or at least almost). I would remove the shading of the moon and make it a bit darker than the sky, I think that would look best. I like the rest, especially the water and the people in the foreground. this pic has some very nice atmosphere

When in an eclipse, the "ball" in front gets black as and the one behind very bright..
I like this piece very much, excelent choice of colors and as setz said, good job with the water!
