For the Challenge Good vs. Evil. It was quite a struggle getting the background filled with only 6 colours. The idea behind this is, that when one heart hits a grenade, it gets so much love that it start to overheat, to smoke, and eventually explodes, sending hundreds of new hearts on their way to do the very same thing. Don't ask me where the grenades came from, they are just there. Same for the chain reaction that should have started somewhere? (This reminds me about theories about how the galaxy has risen). The title is because in fact the love is being evil to the grenades, or at least, theres no escaping from it...

I know the ground and smoke might look a bit plane, but somehow i like the contrast between those two. Maybe it's also because ive seen the other beackgrounds i made, and they are well, quite crappy...

anyway, it might look nice to dither the background and smoke too, but now ive got somehting that looks like each material has its colour. Dithering the BG and smoke with the colour restriction i have at the moment will ruin that, i think...?

Love a grenade shading while the other parts seem unfinished to me. I think if you use dithering, there's no reason to left smoke and ground undithered as they can't be so plane all the way.

Interesting and unusual idea for the image.
