Nice! Really good shading - doesn't look like a beginner's piece at all.
But what's up with the white "r" on his belly? It looks out of place.
Oh, and welcome to the site! When I first joined, I was a bit freaked out because people tend to be a lot harsher in their criticisms than on other art sites, but they're actually really friendly and helpful. Mostly.

o.0 a great pice of art we have 'ere! There is no way this is your first pixel, it takes most a year to get like this! I'm not sure i can do something this good. I like the way you highlight everything, and the way the feet look just liike hooves. Faved, 5.Keywords
