Character sprites for game I'm working on, CowPG. They're cows, because, you play as telepathic, psychokinetic cows. From top to bottom, the breeds you can choose from are Holstein, Hereford, Dexter, Jersey and Watusi. Yes, I realise they're not all proportionally accurate to eachother, but some aspects of accuracy had to be overlooked for the sake of finishing this game sometime this decade). Then on any given row the classes are Matador Mangler, Disciple of Auroch, Boomstick Virtuoso, Elemental Maestro, and one of the "secret" classes you can gain access to later. The base classes loosely correspond to your staple DnD/fantasy classes, fighter, cleric/paladin, ranger, mage. Colour count's a little high, and I realise I could drop a lot of very similar colours, but they're done as such to make palette swapping a lot easier when making the many animations required.

Yeah, I mean, the way we're planning development for the game, we want to open it to players as soon as the first few zones are finished, and the basic systems are done. It really shouldn't be taking as long as it has, but there are issues. Basically, as an online game, we plan to just keep adding content to it as we complete it, which will be easier once we get it out there and get the ball rolling.

Anyways, yes, we'll eventually be looking for testers, so thanks for the offer. We were hoping to have something ready before the end of the year, but again, issues make that seem less likely as time goes by.

I don't think you know what dolls or sprites are. I also don't think you've given any consideration to the fact that these were made for a game that is currently a work in progress, which you would know if you read the first sentence in the description field.

They aren't moving because this current piece isn't meant to depict them moving, it's just meant to show the static sprites with the base classes and breeds in the game.

Furthermore, if you'd like to get a better sense of the context for these (in addition to actually reading description fields), I have the most up to date static mockup here, and an older, flash made mockup (which does have animations) here.

Aren't sprites supposed to move though? These are really just dolls if you ask me.

This is the best thing ever.

A mate and I were working on a sheep simulator for a bit, but the idea died due to lack of interest.

There was this episode of Family Feud where this woman needed to say an animal that starts with an "r". She said "rectangle cow". I believe these are what she was talking about. These are awesome.
