Mykola is right about the white stripe. I remember well how that component of the Game Gear was indeed very shiny, but you really need to at least put some mid-grey antialiasing round the edges to stop it looking so horribly jaggy.

And if you're going to be so quick to dismiss constructive criticism what's the point of you posting your stuff on a public forum like this anyway?

look mister, the only and sole reason I'm picking on you, is because I like this piece besides the ugly white stripe. And I think it's a shame you don't want to put in a little extra of your spare time to make it look great instead of alright - instead you prefer to just tell me off.

my friend the way you made it with that 255-255-255 white it it's called ugly, sorry but true.

just cuz it's shiny in real life doesn't mean it should be 100% white in pixel art.

instead of spending 15 minutes on the piece you could upload it to the WIP forum to get some actual feedback, but the again if you spend 15 minutes on something that probably means you think you're already very experienced. (or maybe you frankly don't give a fuck, so why am I even writing that)

should have spent 5 more minutes to pick a better color for that CRAZY-ASS white hilite on the screen.
