I like your idea behind this, pretty creative imo.
The first stage looks great to me, but i dont really like the body of the second one, kinda bland really.

.. gains some armor? Out of thin air? And why is it so hard to get that the slab Lady Liberty holds turns into a missle?

It doesn't really transform, just gains some armor, and the book turns into a...blimp? Oh well, I like the fist stage.
